This is a mitzvah hunt -- the son of Marquita Rivera is desperately looking for two Mexican films that his mother appeared in:

"El Conquistador"

"Me persigue una mujer"

The negatives are at UNAM but after a year of inquiries, he is still unable to get a VHS or DVD copy. Are there any other sources for this film? He just wants to watch any kind of copy.

Dennis,
UNAM has been putting out some of the materials in their film archive on DVD, but as far as I know not much of these releases contain the likes of feature films. If he has already been in touch with UNAM librarians as well as people in the UNAM bookstore, then the Cineteca in Mexico City might be another place to seek leads or information.
There is also the Museo Archivo de la FotografĂa may be another place to inquire. They specialize more in photographs than films, but they might have some information or suggestions anyway.
