Apologies if I posted this before - can't find it! I'm trying to track down, at a reasonable price, a copy (any format, even a VHS dub) of Emile de Antonio's IN THE KING OF PRUSSIA. One fella has a $150 VHS former rental on Amazon, and that's the only one I've been able to locate. If it's anywhere as powerful as THE TRIAL OF THE CATONSVILLE NINE, I *need* to see this film...
I mean, do people here know the Berrigans? (Martin Sheen is a friend to Daniel Berrigan, appears in de Antonio's film, and was arrested in an anti-nuke demonstration with him. The film is about the Plowshares Movement, in which the radical priests Daniel and Philip Berrigan - who "act" as themselves (I believe this is a semidocumentary) - would break into nuclear arms plants, hammer on the missiles, and pour blood on them, then stand by awaiting arrest. The Berrigans claimed a certain degree of fame in the 1960s for such actions, most famously at Catonsville, where they poured homemade napalm on draft files, apparently as a way of bringing the legality of the Vietnam conflict into court. The Trial of the Catonsville Nine, while very talky and stagey, bristles with energy, passion, and ideas - I highly recommend it if you can track it down. To my knowledge, both films were only ever released on VHS.

I still haven't gotten over the HVE Emile de Antonio series falling through, so I feel your pain and did some looking around for you. Concord Video (http://www.concordvideo.co.uk) seems to have it for £50, but that may be more than you are willing to pay. MPI Home Video says it's "temporarily out-of-stock" but more likely permanent. Subterranean Cinema has it listed, and you'd have to e-mail them for further details (http://www.subcin.com/subvid.html).
Other than that, are there any U.S. cities you're planning to visit anytime soon? There are quite a few libraries that have it on VHS, but they're all in the U.S., as far as I can tell. Some of them would loan it out, if you have any access to inter-library loan.

I ordered a few things from them quite some time ago (I think in 2006). The communication and service was friendly and prompt.
EDITED: I just refreshed my memory and looked at the SubCin site. It is an incredible list--in theory I would want dozens if not more of the DVDs he offers, IF they were of top notch quality. But if he is still operating, I would just say "buyer beware". He is very generous with his "A"s. I was not expecting much, but the A I got from him was, at best, a B.

Re: Emile de Antonio on DVD
Just discovered that Painters Painting is being released on January 26. And apparently it had a small DVD release last year that went almost immediately out of print, much like that Jack Smith documentary (also being reissued).
