Could the film have a more perfect title to go along with that artwork?

Aye, that's the worst of all! A real disservice to a great film.

At least they got a quote talking about lesbianism to put on the front cover - why didn't all the DVD companies that put out Black Narcissus do this?

Is there a matching fullscreen cover of an army attacking from the opposite direction?

Yeah, I thought that Casino Royale cover was really cheesy. But I aslo didn't like the other one with the woman's silhouette and lots of garish colors. I put off buying the Dvd for a while, because the covers were so ugly. After a month, I broke down and bought the one with the woman. Wish I didn't ... what a dull unfunny film that was.

yeah, MGM's cover art has been historically terrible, but with Fox taking over now, things should get better.

When I first read it I thought it said "Push It To Poop It"......

Not trying to be childish.... thats really what I thought it said for a second.

Do you think that if a designer hated a particular film, that they would purposely create a terrible cover? I know I would.

It makes her neck look like that of an alien from Halo

Don't go hatin' on my gurrrl, Special K! As I said before, Lucinda Dickey is the Monica Vitti of breakdancing movies. And possessed-ninja movies. Nobody conveys the spiritual emptiness of the human form in the skeleton of the modern urban setting like L.D.

 That is what the ending of L'Eclisse needed - a solitary figure breakdancing for money in the middle of the empty park to signify the uselessness (and stupidity) of human endeavour!

Maybe only being passed as night falls by Vitti's friend chasing the pack of dogs that have gotten loose again!

I bought a few DVDs today from Amazon UK and was about to purchase Children of Men UNTIL I saw the cover and thought I can't have that thing in my house! I trust the R1 will have a better-designed cover. The UK one is atrocious and whoever designed and approved that should be sacked NOW!
