Coming 9/19:
DVD Review wrote:The DVD set will contain “Tarantula, The Mole People, The Incredible Shrinking Man, The Monolith Monsters and Monster On The Campus. Universal has not yet revealed exact details about each of the films, such as special features, but with a low $19.98 sticker price, I would not expect too much in terms of extras.

Glad The Incredible Shrinking Man is finally on its way.

Wow! Great, more B-Movie mania. Finally, The Incredible Shrinking Man.

Solaris72 - for once, we're ahead of you. The Incredible Shrinking Man is already available in UK. Barebones, but at least it's anamorphic OAR. :)

atcolomb - I share your anger about the p & S version of COLOSSUS, THE FORBIN PROJECT (1970).

Seems that Best Buy will be the only place to get this set.

Each store is said to get only 6 sets, so I rushed and pre-ordered it on-line...

Each store will get a minimum of six sets. I don't think there will be any trouble picking up a copy in-store on the release date.

Just got a copy of this and took a quick look. No bells or whistles whatsoever, but fairly respectable transfers of some much loved (by me, at least) sci-fi's...

Our BestBuy had much more than 6. More like 30 copies.

I suppose I am arriving late to the party on this one. After looking high and low for this set at Deep Discount, I read this thread. It seems almost not possilbe to believe that Universal would have released this set for such a short period of time, and in such limited quantity. Are there any indications that it will be re-released? Does anyone know, where I can purchase a copy?

Thanks for the tip, Ashirg. I just ordered the set, and received confirmation that it ships "usually within 4-6 weeks." I will update this post, once I have the set in hand.

As it happens, Amazon is out of stock of the set, and notified me today that they will not be able to fill my order.

If anyone knows of another place, where they may still have this for sale, please post.
