I wonder if that guy was brought back to life with the fluorescent green stuff from Re-Animator?

I saw a really bad cover for Julien Temple's Vigo: A Passion for Life, but having trouble dredgiing it up online. The cover on Amazon shows the couple on L'Atalante ship, and looks fine.

I definitely agree with that sentiment....a movie like that should have a cover like that!

It was nice of them to give the cover to the winner of the drag queen Monica Vitti lookalike competition after all. I was so sure they'd chicken out.

And I'd always wondered what that mysterious Italian title actually meant.

I've been doing some thinking and, relative to the source material, that L'Avventura cover is the worst piece of shit I've ever seen.

I thought that was the kind of crap that got released through "Starz Home Entertainment" instead of Anchor Bay.

Anchor Bay was more or less dissolved into Starz last month, but it's maintained as a separate brand. So all Anchor Bay titles are also Starz titles, but not necessarily the other way around.

Okay, not the all-time worst, but little effort went into this. But perhaps more effort than went into naming the film.

This looks rather dated and awful. Das Kalte Herz (1950) is an East German film with an East German-looking cover. Maybe someone can help find a larger picture of the cover.

I saw a pretty laughable cover for a film entitled New Wave Hookers (1985) ... which is perhaps understandable. But searching for the cover, I discovered the more remarkable fact that it spawned 6 sequels. The last New Wave Hookers 7 came out in 2003.

Pornos often have 30+ volumes in a series (I'm not kidding), I actually thought there were more New Wave Hookers than just 7.

Note: I work in a video store that rents porn, so I'm overexposed to the world of adult video.

Dear lord.

For a guy who I think is a genuinely talented comedic actor, Jason Lee sure does pick horrible roles (outside of My Name is Earl).
