I am a massive fan of Peter Cook, but I no idea that The Rise and Rise of Michael Rimmer was being released! And its anamorphic and has a commentary track by Kevin Billington!

Play.com seems to cheapest, btw.
Great to see this British classic hot on the heels of the recent release of If... .

Sad to see that the film's cinematographer, Alex Thomson died on June 14th.
He worked with many great filmmakers: David Lean, John Huston, Olivier, Truffuat, Nicolas Roeg, Johm Boorman, Michael Cimino, Michael Mann.
Obituary.
Michael Rimmer has some terrific camera set-ups that I can't wait to see again.

I'm glad you enjoyed the film. We had a great time working on the DVD release. The only thing better than Kevin Billington's excellent director's commentary are the comments that he wouldn't let us keep in!
