Yikes.
This one isn't nearly as bad as one on the old thread where people spent a very large amount of time debating, and criticizing the name of Criterions softball team. To make it worse i think they spent even more time coming up with even worse names. A close second would be the one thats still going i think about who Mulvaney is, and that alot of people seem to think he is multiple people. Its pretty bad when people concentrate more on how many good looking females there are, or how many black, or white people there are, or how bad they may, or may not dress than on the great work that they are doing. But the posters are pretty groovy. :D

OK sir, I don't know about you, but I have a penis. Commenting on good looking girls is not something I'm ever going to stop doing.

As another owner of a penis, let me say that Peter Becker is a hottie (in a nerdy, film-geek kinda way). Who knew?

You really allow yourself to go loose and have fun while you're here! I guess you are the creator of Beavis & Butt-Head and enjoys sing-a-long to Eminem during your morning shower. Planet Earth would be a doll place without you!

This makes no sense at all. What are you trying to say? You think its humorous to say that i created Beavis & Butt-Head, and that i sing Eminem in the shower? I just don't understand Denmark humor i suppose.

I'm saying you have no humor or irony at all...

It's quite clear that I am not enough of a hipster to work at Criterion. I wonder if their new offices are in Williamsburg. It might make the commute easier. Or perhaps Criterion pays enough to live in the LES.

After looking at the 3 people in the foreground, is anyone else reminded of this?

What about this makes you think of Williamburg? Or the Lower East Side? Do these people really look like hipsters to you? Or am I missing a joke here?

I don't know if I should feel honored or feel like an extreme fanboy. I have those same George Washington, Band of Outsiders and Diary of a Chambermaid posters framed on my wall.

Okay, either everyone in NYC has orange Nikes or I just read way too much Gawker.

Nah, if it was a Gawker addiction you'd be talking about Park Slope.

I want to see Death Monkey take the guy in the foreground of the outtakes and put him on the 40-Year-Old Virgin poster. His pose and expression are perfect.

I would if it weren't his account the images come from. It'd be stupid to sever my only direct connection to criterion.

Ah. We wouldn't want to do that. No offense to the guy was intended. I'm not implying that he is either 40 or a virgin, just that he has this particular facial expression down cold.

Your comment prompted me to search Flickr for Criterion, which led me to this guy. I suspect he is lurking about somewhere. I suppose that these images (for our more analytical cinephiles who are interested in such things) constitute some sort of "Criterion porn" themselves.
