Ahem... Javier Bardem?125100 wrote:Impressive, oh please god let this be good, I'm a big Márquez fan, I just pray Mike Newell doesn't cock it up too much. It so deserved someone better at the helm, I like John Leguizamo though and I haven't seen much of Benjamin Bratt, outside of Miss Congeniality, so hope remans...
And I don't know... the ultimate Marquez adaptation will always remain Terayama's Farewell to the Ark.

I agree; it kind of brings to mind what you'd see on an "Animation Celebration" compilation a couple decades ago (although this is very brief compared to most of those). Too bad it's an end title, though...whatever happened to the elaborate main title sequence? But that's another topic.the credit sequence is quite pretty.

It's almost a parody of cheesy period-piece movie trailers. Whoever wrote that voiceover narration should be ashamed of himself. The earnest movietrailerguy performance of it is equally silly. The "original songs by Shakira" title card is the coup de grâce though.kaujot wrote:That is an absolutely horrendous trailer.
