O my god. Yes its near Halloween so the studios are predicted to dig into their vaults and roll out the usual horror highs and lows.

But... this is beyond sublime. These films are glorious... brilliant. I almost want to weep thinking of THE GIANT CLAW. First of Jeff Morrow is in it, and he kills me with the way he wags his head in relation to that sort of "invisible box" he's always holding out in front of himself for gesticulation.. and of course the great Morrow eyebrow-wrinkle.

But this is about a giant Turkey, or Chicken, probably vulture from outer space... with it's own ANTI MATTER SHIELD (the melodramatic preening explanation from whatsis who played the Surete dude in the Universal Rains version of PHANTOM.. still w pencil moustache). Ha! You thought RODAN had something happening? Forget it, pal. The strings that help it fly, the stupid human sound effect CAWWWWWWW when it eats airmen and plane. This makes the stuff on ULTIMATE SCI FI (think GIANT MANTIS) look like Masaki Kobayashi.

Then the great WEREWOLF. The dude who plays the lead is so miscast, looks so much like a nice Jewish Boy From Co Op City in the Bronx.. he should be getting a guilt-slap from his ma in the back of his hairy head and told to eat his soup it's getting cold after every attack. And thus it goes thru the set.

Do. Not. Miss. This. Collection. Bresson is ass-gas compared to this sublime cheepnis.
