Yes.
That's primarily a "best packaging" thread.

But my senility must be kicking in, as I was the last to post there ... three months ago.

Not only that, the prudes on our side of the border airbrushed in more skirt ( NSFW).
Might as well put a shopping cart and a Healthy Choice display in front of her, too.

Have we done this one yet? Because it's wrong in so many ways... not the least of which is the appearance that Shirl is ready to give them double handjobs.

After seeing that, I can't help but wonder what the Quebecois cover of "Love and Other Disasters" looks like.

Either Ally Sheedy's head is on backwards or she's body-less and there's a random female leg coming out of John Candy's ass.

Also: bright enough colors there? And I'm talking about their skin, not the clothes.

Jesus that's bad. Maclaine looks like she's holding sperm samples from both dudes in her hands and trying to decide.

ONLY THE LONELY-- hilarious! That mystery leg is fucking awesome.

Pretty ugly, especially the night-vision green.
And they couldn't come up with a better mirror warning?

But what I really liked is that on Amazon, it asks,
What Do Customers Ultimately Buy After Viewing Items Like This?
A: 8% buy Ice Spiders

I see they got Rod Taylor to add the Birds vibe! (Tippi Hedren must have been wary after her experience on The Birds II: Land's End!)

Actually, that cover is absolutely perfect because it's about as stupid as the movie itself (yes, I saw The Marine. Payed. In a theater, even. Don't know what I was thinking). In fact, the only way it could be more perfect is if they had Cena in his marine uniform. He looks so dumb in military garb.

Shameless (but timely) rip-off of this (real) photo. Caution: not for the squeamish.

Is John Candy goosing Maureen O'Hara? His left hand's whereabouts are unknown...the look on her face...

I know it's been in all the ads for that movie, but what is that red and green thing? A strawberry deep-space nebula? It looks so stupid.

I like the tagline for the Wesley Snipes Detonator cover! "The fate of thousands is in their hands" - thousands? Not 'millions', not 'the world'?

Wake me up when the Pope is being held hostage by eurotrash terrorists planning to distribute communion wafers with tiny explosive devices inside in an attempt to blow up every Catholic en masse (ironically during Mass) - that's an action movie plot with the lives of millions at stake that it needs a hero to solve! ("Sergeant O'Mally you must get everyone out of the church, there are fifty wafers all counting down to zero!", then later "Detective O'Hara, how did you make the amazing realisation that holy water neutralised the bomb? You saved the entire St Winifred's Boys Choir by turning the water cannons on them!")

It looks like a strawberry (Strawberry Fields?) that also sort of looks like America - with Canada as the strange green bit on top? At the same time it also looks like a big red splat. So basically I haven't got a clue!

It's definitely supposed to be a heart-shaped Strawberry as in Strawberry Fields Forever-- typical of the level of "invention" in the movie.
