Now, don't get me wrong, I love Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! more than life itself, but this thread wouldn't be complete without this astounding DVD cover. It makes perfect sense for devotees of the show, but I'd love to see what the average joe will make of it.
Well, just wait till I find a photo of the cover for Uwe Boll's Postal. The dvd I've been seeing around is real sketchy looking. And while I like to think of myself as liberal and tolerant, I draw the line at small felines being sodomized with automatic weapons. Photoshopped or not.
Is it me, or does Obama look like he was photoshoped in the crowd?
The first one is awesome, they are so desperate to mention Teri Hatcher they threw her name on the cover twice (We really have Teri I SWEAR), and who ever the dude is on the cover with her looks like he accidentally spit up in his mouth and is trying to swallow some of it back down with out hurling Full Blast).
On the Obama thing, I keep thinking some secretly racist GOP dude packaged the thing up so it i s vaguely reminiscent of a Curious George Book.
Curious George Goes To School
Curious George Goes To The Ice Cream Shop
Curious George Goes To Africa.
And are Baracks hands really that huge? He missed his calling then and shoulda been a guitar or piano player. He looks like he has fuckin Hendrix Hands (Jimis hands were like catchers mitts).
The edition I have has a weirder cover, with small mask-like faces of the actors across the top.
But this five actor pile-up isn't too impressive either. Strange how both covers leave off Arkin's face (but include his name).
Pacino looks kind of Peter Falk-ish here.

Almost every single cover from Paramount should be listed in this thread... from the horrible cover of Shane to Barefoot In The Park and just about everything else the studio's put out, especially in recent years (new Chinatown SE, etc)!
The gradient background, the horrible fashion, the crappy tagline, the inexplicable desert highway (I don't remember such a locale in the movie. Yes I actually saw Breaking the Rules)...the only positive of this thing is Annie Potts just being her usual purdy self.

That's actually David Mann, who plays Mr. Brown in a few of Perry's plays, as well as this particular one. Still a pretty bad cover, though.
Wait...there's an over-sized, badly made-up Tyler Perry character not played by Tyler Perry himself? And here I thought the man was too obsessed with the feel of latex on his skin to let such a thing happen.
That ain't so bad. They'll sell millions just based on that cover. I like how the laces of the football got transformed into an ersatz vagina for the bikini girl to slide out of with her UNRATED sign. That alone is enough to exclude it from the "worst covers ever" thread.
