Is £10 for MOCs like Toni, Funeral Parade of Roses, 24 eyes, The idiot a good price?

How is a deal £10 for MOCs like? GOOD OR BAD?

It is a good price, but after we all grabbed them for half that in the last CD-WOW sale, it doesn't seem that way

What DVDs were they selling in the sale?

Is it annual?

Any thread that discussed it?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, the titles that went out in the big sale have not been added back to the site. It seemed to be a clearance sale of sorts, with most titles going for $5 or so after coupons. Most of us made out like bandits, and I haven't seen any deals that even come close to those prices since.

I missed the preorder price of Gion bayashi and Sansho Dayu at amazon.co.uk

Any suggestions for a cheap(er) place to pick it up? (I have a sealed Second Run Cremator if anybody wants to trade, too).

Thanks.

You can use find-dvd.co.uk to compare prices.
Cheapest at sendit at the moment, £16.89.

Thanks for the link. I have used that, but have found it difficult because it isn't clear which companies ship to the US (I don't expect them to list that, either, as I am probably not their target audience).

So, I guess I just learn which companies ship and remember them. Thanks for the sendit.com suggestion.

find-dvd.co.uk also does not compare the Amazon marketplace so it's good to check there as well.

what's a good place other than cd-wow for u.s. buyers? i like cd-wow a lot and their prices are usually good, but they aren't very good at shipping new things to me fast. maybe i've just had bad luck, like i'm still waiting for a shipping confirmation for the bill douglas trilogy. perhaps i'm spoiled with dvdplanet and such in america that ship, perhaps in some cases, way early.

Ordered my copy of L'Argent (I'm in US) and was shocked at the exchange rate--I guess the pound is in trouble, too--I got the set for just a little over 20 bucks. No reason not to order from this side of the pond.

I usually buy from Amazon.uk. They deduct VAT for US buyers and shipping is fast--most of my orders arrive 5-6 days after shipment. You might also want to try The Hut. They do not deduct VAT, but most of their prices are competitive and their shipping rates are lower.

Amazon.uk, which is currently offering some very deep discounts. L'Argent, at 39% off, is actually a conservative discount, but there's a Hitchcock set that's going for 80% off.

The new Sight And Sound includes a flyer advertising some bargains on MoC DVDs and box sets from Eureka Video: Buster Keaton - The Complete Short Films for £20, the Naruse box for £20, lots of single and double discers for £10 - £12...

Note that not all the MoCs are under the MoC button, but "Christmas Gift Ideas"; and you have to pay by PayPal.

Does anybody know where one might get the MoC of Ray's 'The Savage Innocents'?
I've been keeping an eye out for that for over a year now and it seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet!

Damn! I paid top whack for both of those. Ever more reason to wait for the Demy box-set to drop in price

Any updates on this? Curious that Amazon.co.uk doesn't even list it yet.

The Hut is selling quite a few MoC’s for £8.93, 11 can be found on the link. (Tabu, Bellissima, Le Silence De La Mer, Der Letzte Mann, Onibaba, Silence, Nightmare Alley, Abhijan, Assassination, Asphalt, Spione)

You have to search for these ones they don’t list them under MoC Series for some reason.
Rocco And His Brothers, Edvard Munch, Diary of a Lost Girl, Humanity & Paper Balloons, Kwaidan, Metropolis, Salesman (actually £8.23), Tartuffe,
