Made by the niece of Mayles brothers - and without their blessing - this film documents the brothers' career as well as Albert's battle with David's widow for control to the rights of their films. The film also makes use of clips from the Maysles films under the fair use clause of the copyright act but I wonder how long it will last until Albert Maysles tries to shut it down (he hasn't seen the film yet, though he says he has asked for a screening). The film debuted in Amsterdam recently and here's a very interesting overview of the contents.

What a strange name for a film.

Maybe she's searching for some "ecstastic truth" as well ;)

To clarify your first post, Antoine, Celia is David Maysles' daughter and Albert Maysles' niece. I don't know what the style or tone of the film is, but it does seem on the surface like the Maysleses getting a taste of their own medicine.
