I got my $8.99 DoaC shipping confirmation, but I'm STILL waiting on William Klein. Has anyone else had the same trouble with Klein?

Sorry guys, but what exactly is the purpose of this thread?

All that everyone does is let others know when their DVD was shipped???

Almost as exciting as "I Got (postcard) in (dvd pak)".

"Threw (wrapper plastic) away and (munched chips)."

"Read (chip bag) which said 'Now with yet more (msg) and (garlic salt laced with Special Passively-Watch-Life-Go-By-Without-Participating flavor specks!)'"

But 3/4 of life is vacant filler material. Let them do what they enjoy with it.

It's a little silly I guess but it lets others know they can expect their shipments soon or that they're not alone in not receiving anything yet. Is it really that hard to figure out? Surely things on the board aren't so slow that every day there has to be a new thing to bitch about.

Well she did warn you-- "psychotic bitch" is right there. So psychotic bitching should come as no surprise.

It may be boring but its harmless a thread as any. Which is why I ended my above post the way i did.

The existence of this thread is OK by me.

My real question, however, is this: Why is it stickied?

Furies, Before the Rain, Mishima, Patriotism all shipped today from DVD Planet.

They're having a "covert" 20% off sale through Sunday or Monday. The code is 20offsale and it's good for these releases.

Anyone else NOT getting coupon codes from DVD Planet via email anymore or am I the only one?

Anyone else having trouble ordering from DVDplanet? Every time I attempt access their site, my internet browser freezes and then shuts down. And it's only with their site. This has been happening with me for about a week, and I'm trying to preorder Criterion discs but can't... Frustrating.

There were a lot of complaints at the DVDTalk forum about this during the sale. It seems that DVD Planet's site doesn't interact well with Internet Explorer. It seems to work well with Firefox (which is also my experience), so you might want to try that.

Received shipping confirmation of Vampyr from axelmusic.com. Really early, too.

I had pre-ordered on amazon.co.uk the MoC version, but seeing that package on beaver made the difference.

Shit, am I the only one with a backlog of Criterions that is yet in need of purchasing. I've been enjoying watching great films get a release date, but have not purchased any in a while. Mostly economical reasons on my part, but it sure pisses me off. Thought I leave a little steam off in here. :x

How long did it take to receive Vampyr? Maybe this site always ships that early, which would be good to know...
