Anchor Bay to form theatrical arm

The theatrical rollouts will be very small, but it's an interesting move in the face of major studio "indies" closing left and right.

Well, this certainly clarifies things: I sort of did a double take when I saw the Anchor Bay logo preceding the "Flashbacks of a Fool" trailer

Tartan tanked when they went from distribution to co-production. AB seems to be keeping things simpler and sticking with distribution. I'm the first to admit I know zilch about the business, but I would guess that picking up finished films is less dicey than financing them yourself.
