Atom Egoyan to direct Chloe starring Julianne Moore and Liam Neeson. It's a "sexy thriller in the vein of Fatal Attraction." #-o

Is Atom Egoyan becoming the new Paul Verhoeven? (if so, I can't wait for his Show Girls)

Re: New Films in Production
Peter Weir is finally making another film, The Way Back. His Shantaram with Johnny Depp fell apart just before filming due to "creative differences." Hopefully, Weir and Farrell will be more compatible.

Considering the source, "deplorable" is average for them.

I'll be the first to say Antoine might have been on the nose after all, fire where there's smoke and all that.Antoine Doinel wrote:It appears there is trouble on the set of Ridley Scott's Nottingham.

Both articles quote the guy as saying Crowe got fat for Body of Evidence. Don't they have fact checkers anymore?

There is now youtube video from this weekend's "gig". I think the Hollywood Reporter got the story wrong though. I don't think the documentary is about Phoenix's attempt to become a rapper, rather it will be about his eventual drug overdose/death (God forbid).swo17 wrote:Woah, I thought the hip hop thing was a joke.

Well, if he's a rapper wouldn't his death come after a violent dispute with another rapper?

Nicely done. He's already fought one rapper...(onscreen, in "The Yards").Antoine Doinel wrote:Well, if he's a rapper wouldn't his death come after a violent dispute with another rapper?

"Spike Lee" and "Sequel" are very strange words to belong in one sentence together.
