Chinese DVD covers could easily dominate this thread, but this one stuck out:

It seemed a little familiar, somehow...

And while this isn't a particularly terrible cover, the English title merits some mention:

I think it was mentioned in the previous thread, but I'll say it again; Studios aren't trying anymore. Anyone that has a computer is qualified to do cover arts for DVDs and BDs.

I like that the picture above your post is clearly marked "Evidence" of your argument.

Why did they wait until there were 40 million reasons to start going after this guy?

I don't want to mock the marketing department on technicalities, but lets assume a number that high means that he stole a large sum of money. $40 Million specifically.

$1 is not a reason to want someone dead. It's just $1.

How much money then is enough to want someone dead? $100? $1000? I'm mostly a pacifist, against the death penalty and all that, so my threshold for wanting someone dead is pretty high. If the threshold for another person happens to be around, oh, I don't know, say... $40 Million, wouldn't that be only ONE reason to want someone dead? Because he stole $40 Million?

I don't know how to post pictures, but the Rachel Getting Married cover features a blurry white groom who bears little resemblance to the black male getting married in the film.

Yeah, even if he stole $1 million from 40 different people, that'd only be 40 reasons.

That would be 40 people with one reason then.
He clearly have done 40 million different things. It's a long time to wait.

I think that's supposed to be the father, but I would have preferred to see the sister arm-locked with her boyfriend as well.

The last cover is kind of ironic since neither went to public or private school and dropped out of college in their first semesters.

Is that David Allen Grier? His career has really hit rock bottom. That cover would make Swimming Horses proud. Can I still mention his name in this forum?

I can't speak for the forum, of course, but I don't object to the mention of the name "David Allen Grier."
