This is from this website, dedicated to a fan restoration of La Classe Américaine (1993), the cult French film using only clips of Warner films. The idea of restoring is simple: using the clips from available DVDs of the original films or any other source, as long that they're better than the best known bootleg of La Classe which isn't pretty.

They found all the clips used except this one. This looks like kind of crazy impossible... but anyone know ?!

Hi all,

I'm looking for the title of an experimental film i watched a few years ago. It's basically one long shot of an ascending escalator, with people facing the camera. I think the movie plays backwards.

I was probably made in the 60's (or the early 70's), and lasts less than 10 minutes.

Any clues?

Hi all !

When i was a kid in around 1979, i wached movie on TV, from which i remember only one scene:

People in hell, slaves i think in caldurons and half naked female devil is whipping slaves which are turning some kind of wooden wheel for elevator or door opening purpose. As I remember the main character was a man who made contract with devil....

Any Clues ?

Heh.

I highly doubt this is the case, but it sounds similar to Jigoku, a Japanese film about Hell. That sort of hellish cauldron/devil/Sisphyian imagery is pretty common in movies, though. You may have to be more specific.

A couple of years ago I changed the channel to TCM and caught the last seconds of a movie. There is a boy on the roof of a car dancing and yelling or singing, a women is in the car and a man is walking away from the car and ends. They are white and I think they had red hair. I don't even know if it was a foreign film. Sorry for not being specific but that is all I remember. Was thinking about it yesterday and thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.
