Re: New Films in Production
Paul Reubens was so good on that show. Why can't we have it back and cancellation takes Deal or No Deal instead

The best part of that game was the absolutely vicious and spiteful verbal demolishment you'd get if you entered enough swear words as answers. Not to mention a loss of points totaling in the tens of thousands.

This was announced during Cannes but Albert Serra's next project will be an adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula. This is in Spanish.
He will use non-professional actors and film in Romania and France with French and Spanish money.

Re: New Films in Production
It had better consist largely of immense static overhead and isometric shots, crawling with insanely detailed motion. Wally creeps around the frame, blending with the scenery, and everyone in the cinema squints and leans forward in their seats. Shot in 70mm.
Also, why is he called 'Waldo' in America? That's an even more pointless change than 'Philosopher-Sorcerer' in Harry Potter.

So, I hope that Blood Meridian went bust, and this is his make-up.

Scream gets a reboot.
Catherine Hardwicke and Emile Hirsch team up for something that's never been done before: a modern retelling of Hamlet.

Why does Much ado about Nothing always get forgotten. You'd think that one would work best in a modern setting.

Bread & Circuses: The Story of Os Mutantes (McCarty, 20??)
Does anyone know if this documentary was ever released? The trailer has been on YouTube for like 3 years.

I've never gotten all the fuss over the Bard's comedies. I mean, take away his language and you're left with what amounts to the latest Reese Witherspoon or Sandra Bullock rom-com -- pleasant but totally disposable. Of course, his comedies that aren't funny (e.g. "The Merchant of Venice") are another story.knives wrote:Why does Much ado about Nothing always get forgotten. I find them only to be funny if you take them as how they were meant, an overly long double entendre.

As much as I dislike U2 and The Edge, that looks like a lot of fun.

To quote Toby Ziegler, there's nothing you can do about a joke like that. You see it coming and you just have to stand there
