Most of Hughes' films have had long rough cuts (I think The Breakfast Club clocked in around 4 hours), and it would be interesting to see some of that footage, but they are not director's cuts. He shot a lot of footage and shaped the film in editing, much like Judd Apatow does now.

Wait, you're arguing that Judd Apatow's films are edited down?

You're right, this is a terrible cover. Perhaps even more so than the others, this cover needs to have huge balls all over it.

Have you seen the trailer for "A Day In The Life?" It's just plain god-awful and hilarious! The whole movie is rapping dialogue. I couldn't possibly ever conceive of anything that could be worse.

Don't tell me that this is the first time you've realized that we have a very very very very famous playwright among our veteran ranks? Be nice, or he might write you into his next play entitled "Someone Went To The Internet And All I got Was This Lousy Beaver Fight!"

I heard it is a good miniseries but the cover makes it look like a bad Harry Potter ripoff.

I used to see this one in Blockbuster all the time when I worked there, and just scratch my head and wonder what horrible displeasures it contained:

What the devil could be awkwardly worded enough to justify replacing it with "PG Rated Fun"?

That closing bracket is apparently just a typo. The review, such as it is, has that line verbatim.

I think it's an exclamation mark. I had to look three times, though.

You usually don't see Bottoms on top like that.
