And why is the tagline a question?

Like a confused executive.

"You mean where?"
"No, when."

C. Thomas Howell sure does get a lot of work these days. I think the Asylum just puts him in everything they make now.

Looks more like an RHI Entertainment DVD ... maybe that's a step up?
And, jeez, what the hell happened to Timothy Bottoms' career, anyway?

In addition to sporting a terrible cover, this release of Beat the Devil brings us the long lost NC-17 version.

Somehow, I expected better quality work from A2zcds.com.

I also enjoy the blue version of Pickup on South Street.

This reminds me of a couple pages back where there was a link to the Amazon listing of one of the Law and Order seasons and instead of the dvd cover being shown there was a picture of a naked woman bending over. It's probably gone now, but it was up there for a few days. Ah, good times...

That picture (or one like it) has been appearing on other items there, too.

You know something's gone seriously wrong with the world when you finding yourself thinking that the line 'Starring William Shatner from Star Trek' would be slightly less horrible.

With a title like "Taintlight", I'd imagine it stars Edward Penishands. (NSFW?)

I don't think Nikki Sixx was available.

Horrible cover for a good movie:

Image

It's from the Dutch DVD-release which I bought myself only a few days ago. I have no complaints about the video and audio of this DVD, but the cover looks like it was printed out with a poor quality inktjet printer. I can actually count the print lines when I look up close. And no, this is not a bootleg.

My God! That's from Indies Entertainment. Just hearing their name sends shivers down my spine. I still can't believe it's a legal operation they're running. Crap label numero uno in The Netherlands.

That cover reminds me of the scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail where the knights attack the French knights' castle with their swords then yell "run away!" and flee. Although, it looks like Branagh and co. were slightly more effective.

Doesn't the title also overcome any shortcomings (no pun intended) in the cover art?

Regarding: Henry V cover:That one soldier in the entrance of the castle is either blind or has no idea where he's going.

I think that's Richard III.

It seems that Indies is not totally to blame here. I looked up the UK-cover and I found this:

I'd say that Indies most likely based it's design on the design of this cover from Universal.
