Does anybody know if the Taiga DramaDVD's have english subs? Would love to see some of these.

I do not believe that there have been any commercial DVD release of any of these Japanese TV drama series. Possibly fansubs may exist for some.

I would have loved to get Aoi Miyazaki's Atsuhime (from last year) -- but the Japanese DVDs are prohibitively expensive (and unsuibbed). There is a cheaper Taiwanese release (still over $100, however) -- but only with Chinese subs (understandably).

I would really like Furin Kazan from 2007. Nakadai as Takeda Nobutora, Shingen's father. An older version of himself, playing the father of the man he portrayed in Kagemusha.
