Thanks for the 25% off tip! To order with that discount for one DVD shipped to Canada plus handling charges is still a poor deal but I made a bulk order decreasing the average costs per DVD which works in my favor with the current exchange rates and compared to other online retailers.

Yes, 40% off list. I know I could probably get them cheaper if I wait for another sale from B&N or Amazon, but I figure the extra few bucks is going to a good cause (namely, Criterion). And I had just spoken to the Barnes and Noble music manager tonight- who said he doesn't believe there's a chance for a 50% off sale this month- so I was going to order the rest of the OOP when I got back... Awful.
