What's Up Doc?

#1 Post by Jeff »

In an unlikely turn of events, Warner is actually following through with their promise to release What's Up Doc? on Blu-ray ($24.98, August 10). I'll happily pick up a copy, and I'm sure Domino Harvey and Peter Bogdanovich will too, but I don't know if they'll sell any more. It's certainly an unlikely choice compared to the Vacation films being released the same day. I can only surmise this is payback to Boggy for the hours of audio tape interviews he has contributed to Warner supplements.

The sellsheet makes it look more like a desperate Streisand tie-in to the Meet the Fockers sequel.

They're being released to aid authorities in the capture of fugitive funnyman Randy Quaid

Quaid will be flushed out of hiding when he files a lawsuit because he was never paid for a Blu-Ray release of the film.
