I just wrapped up the box a couple days ago and actually thought both of these were the least of the bunch. Jim Thorpe's hagiography was no match for its third act attempts at gravitas-- a real misfire for Curtiz, helped a little by Charles Bickford being Charles Bickford. As for the Tourneur, well, I thought it was forgettable c-movie fluff, a Saturday morning programmer if ever there was one. I was most surprised by South Sea Woman, which had a devilishly enjoyable framing structure and some game performances (save the excruciating third-person talking of Chuck Connors). His Majesty O'Keefe was a fun bit of pre-Mutiny on the Bounty island adventure, and, as earlier stated, Executive Action was the still the best of the bunch.
