I could swear we already had this topic somewhere, but I sure can't find it now. Certainly check out Dave Kehr, Glenn Kenny, Chris Fujiwara, Jonathan Rosenbaum, David Bordwell, Self-Styled Siren, David Cairns, Jim Emerson, Senses of Cinema, The House Next Door, Moving Image Source, They Shoot Pictures Don't They, Sight and Sound, Film Comment, TCM and their Movie Morlocks blog.

It's in Italian language, but it's full of forgotten gems. Sadly the main writer in the blog died two months ago. I love the name of the blog: Embraces and pop corn

I know, I looked for it too. I think it was just part of the discussion in this much larger thread.Jeff wrote:I could swear we already had this topic somewhere, but I sure can't find it now.

There is also domino's thread of blogs that members of the forum maintain. I'd recommend Only The Cinema from that list.
I also follow Jeremy Richey's Moon In The Gutter blog, Acquarello's Strictly Film School site, Mark Schilling's site collecting his reviews for the Japan Times and Breillat on DVD (not too regularly updated anymore because of having covered all current releases, but a great resource).

Not sure if it's to your tastes, but http://www.avmaniacs.com/forums/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is a very knowledgable community and resource for exploitation, horror and other generally disreputable genre stuff.
