This is plain and simple among the best work Criterion has ever done. Each film's style is unique upon itself but the set is still cohesive. Bravo

Great. That looks a lot better than Criterion early blu-ray digipacks.

Is that Mike Mignola on the Cronos cover? There's a Mike Mignola cover on the Criterion Collection! Huzzah!

Reminds me of the cover of Guccione's Caligula!

It appears to be Mike Mignola, at first glance. So yeah, talented. And a fan (and friend) (and sometime collaborator) of Del Toro.

I'd agree with that. The linework definitely says Mignola.

Mike Mignola looks like Jim Norton except that Mignola is funnier

It looks more like a novel cover than a movie to me- in particular, it reminds me of this

I think the Cronos cover looks fine. It's been covered here before, but I find the multicolored band and yellow wacky C on the Videodrome blu distracting. I get the idea behind them, but they just take away from the great photo.

Wonder what they will do with Videodrome's packaging?

They could stick with the Betamax, but it would look kinda odd given the slimness of the case.

Since the entire concept of that original package depended on the dimensions of the double-thick case, my guess is that they'll simply throw in the towel and use that cover in their standard BluRay packaging.
