Meanwhile, he probably thinks I have enough posters to wallpaper my house. I think they've gone out of their way to send some replacements (which didn't pan out), but I'm still without a poster (which was going to hang in my office). I'm mainly curious if other US customers had similar problems and, if so, what the resolution was. Maybe it's just a good lesson to not order a poster from overseas.
I'm in the U.S. and I also never received my first one, but the second one did arrive and the shipping tube is in perfect condition. I'm planning on framing it so I don't want to remove and unfurl the poster itself.

I got mine a couple of days ago, and have been wearing it around. I've gotten a stunning number of comments- it led to a long conversation with a proletarian-looking dude at the liquor store about Nosferatu. The world is a pleasant place sometimes.

The first one they sent me never showed up here in Canada, so Kevin sent me a replacement one, which I received without any damage to the tube. As usual, great service from MoC, even for ephemera items such as this one.

According to Kevin, an unusual portion of these got lost in the first mailing.

Just received my own copy of Naruse Vol 1 - I had already watched the films from borrowing the boxset from a friend. Reason why I am posting this is my own shock at opening the Amazon.co.uk packaging to discover a VERY dust covered set. Its kinda depressing to imagine just how long and where the boxset was stored to accumulate such dust.

Send it back to Amazon and complain. They shouldn't be sending out dirty products.

Make Way For Tomorrow was in my post today; can't comment on the transfer yet but I did read Geoffrey O'Brien's piece on the film and it complements Gallagher's Crit essay nicely.

Got my Naruse set oin Canada within a week. I don't know what I'm more pleased by, the customer service or the set itself.

One thing is for sure, you'll be getting orders from my broke ass every month from now on.

Just an update that I did receive a great condition of the poster. It is now hanging framed on my office wall. Very pleased, and again, I'm just very happy that MoC got its customers acceptable condition prints. Thanks!

Mine hasn't arrived yet either. Videos ordered directly from MoC tend to make it over here in Canada in about a week, but the Metropolis poster took a month. Perhaps because it was a non-standard parcel. Maybe it's also the case with the shirt.

Has anyone in North-America received theirs?

I'm in the US, I got my t-shirt a couple of weeks ago.

My MoC store orders always come within 7-9 days of the order date. And I live in Wyoming! I have noticed longer ship times from Amazon UK due to customs delays. Maybe these delays are affecting MoC orders too.

I sent an e-mail to customer service at eurekavideo a few days ago -- no response at all so far.

A minute or two after I posted this, Eureka Direct advised me they were making a replacement shipment. ;~}

Make Way for Tomorrow is taking longer than usual to arrive. I ordered it on the 12th and also ordered the Naruse box the day after. The Naruse arrived this past Wednesday.

A Naruse box shipment arrived today -- I suspect it might be the first one, long delayed (but I find no sign of a date anywhere). Or it could be the re-shipment, arrived very expeditiously. I'll have to wait and see if another arrives eventually.

Still waiting. Cause for concern?

So has these longer-than-usual arrival times been happening to a lot of people, lately? A couple months back, I placed an order that, after waiting three+ weeks, hadn't arrived. I e-mailed Kevin about it and he sent out a replacement. A few days later my order arrived...and less than a week after that the replacement arrived.

Anyway, I ordered something new a week ago. Judging from what happened the last time and from the last number of posts in this thread, I see I should wait awhile before sounding the alarm on any no-show.

Well since the last couple of sales my orders have taken longer to arrive. It used to take about a week and now it takes two to three. Not complaining but I believe the slowdown is general and not particular.

Well the mail came today, but no Metropolis, so I guess that whole "get it before the release date" idea just went out the window.
