Mailed Kevin yesterday about my missing Metropolis Steelbook, and it arrived today.

Fantastic service guys, thank you!

The only problem is that that is the last time I'll see it until Christmas...

Never did I not receive an MoC order.

Just give it time and it will end up at your door.

Finally received Metropolis today, presumably the replacement that was sent late last week.

well, good news and bad news. I received my replacement today, but no T-shirt. Now I don't want to sound like nit-picky complainer, as it is JUST a t-shirt we're talking about. But the whole process has rubbed me the wrong way. I paid in full in September, never received my T-shirt when they went out first -- I didn't even know I supposed to get it early. Never got the first shipment (if there ever was one), and no shipping notice emails at all, so I didn't even know when I should be expecting it. I emailed to get the "replacement" and T-shirt (FW'd my receipt from PAypal), and they shipped it very promptly and it arrived in under a week. But no T-shirt. The Steelbook looks great though (after I figured out how to open it).

I'm in a similar position. Paid in early September and didn't know I should have gotten the t-shirt shortly thereafter. Received the steel book on 29 November and posted in this thread (one page back) about the missing t-shirt. Kevin requested I e-mail him directly with details, which I did and included the PayPal transaction number. I e-mailed again this past weekend for an update and I haven't heard back nor received anything. Now I probably would have purchased the steel book even without the t-shirt sweetener, but that's not what I actually bought. At this point, I'd just like some communication even if it's to tell me that there aren't any more t-shirts available.

There were two occasions where I did not receive my order and would have never gotten anything had I not sent a follow-up e-mail. In both cases, I received the replacements in less than a week, so that was good.

Anyway, I mention this because it's possible not everyone can be fortunate enough to have been in your position.

hey triodelover, got this reply about the T-shirt:

Your T-shirt was sent in a separate despatch on Monday (we were out of stock of your size when the steel book was sent), so that should arrive any day.

And I just got an e-mail from Kevin telling me that he'll send the shirt (with shipping notification) as soon as my size is back in stock. All is well, then.

I should state for the record that, in addition to two orders from Eureka, I've had two orders from sellers in the UK other than Eureka go missing in the mail in the past couple months, so there's clearly something amiss with the international mail service.

Did zq333zq/Anne_zombie decide to switch his tactics against us and now works for US customs?

Seems like Eureka, if they were so inclined, could cry foul against the USPS for having lost so many Metropolis related items- first the posters then the Steelbooks. Perhaps they think it subversive..

Has there been (international) postal / package equivalent to the TSA's recent step up in scanning or hands-on inspection for airline passengers? With a corresponding slow down in delivery times during high traffic periods (like pre-Christmas)? And if so, could the x-ray qualities of a steelbook make them particularly prone to being held up for a while pending further examination?

It's worth pointing out that there has been 'extreme weather' (mild to anyone used to a slight dusting of snow) in the UK. Many parcels have taken a bit longer to ship.

I should also point out, after receiving my copy of Metropolis I sent Kevin a personal e-mail letting him know it had arrived. It turned out that this was the ORIGINAL and the copy he posted as a replacement turned up the next day (complete with the T-Shirt that never turned up).

Still, it was great service - I'll blame the weather and the postal services for any trouble in between. But it seems somewhat suspicious a whole load of Steelbooks disappeared - someone keep an eye on e-Bay...

My order of Metropolis Blu-ray, plus Shadows of Progress, Morgiana and Rock Hunter shipped almost a month ago from Amazon, and has not arrived yet, whereas La signora di tutti (which shipped separate, a week later) arrived after less than a week. They have yet to respond to my email.

Still haven't received my MoC preorder for Metropolis, but the Amazon order I placed for it last week has already arrived (in just under a week).

I still haven't received my T-Shirt - paid for the Steelbook + T back in first week of September I believe, through Eureka's site. Received the steelbook 3 weeks back, and no T-Shirt still :(

Emailed Kevin to tell him, no replies yet.

My Metropolis finally arrived today!! I had to ask for a replacement but it finally arrived. Too bad though, since the people I planned to watch it with are going to be flying back across the country on Saturday.

Remarkably, I received a second copy of Metropolis in the mail today, presumably the original shipment. Poor thing's been stuck in freezing mail trucks for almost a month!

There was no booklet in my copy of "La signora di tutti". I immediately wrote to your customer service, but no answer yet. :|

Just a quick note to anyone who has emailed queries between the 20th December and Today. We've been closed over the Christmas period, I'm getting through all the emails and everyone should have an answer by the close of play tomorrow.

Thanks for your patience.

Has anyone in North America been receiving their orders from the New Years sale?
