KINO holds the rights to Stalker on DVD; however, they noted recently that they do not have the BD rights. I have never seen an example of these rights being split between two companies.

I've never seen a company split between BD and DVD rights either, but it's not inconceivable. The rights owners treat them as different media rights, I'll bet. And Kino's DVD came about before Blu became the Hi Def standard.

Thanks for all the well wishes. We still have a few more days, but things are getting down to the wire. That message on Twitter was more of a general warning, that I'll probably have my hands full and won't be quite as active on the blog, and I'll be taking some time off of the podcast.

As far as tomorrow's announcements, I probably won't be posting any trailers tonight.

We'll see if people like these announcements without the trailers. So many folks complain about the spoilery nature of my trailer posting.
