And if if Paramount says yes, could they also ask for "Ace in the Hole" and "The Miracle of Morgan's Creek"?

Pretty sure Arrow didn't get IL CONFORMISTA from Paramount.

Unfortunately, MOC says that this won't be happening anytime soon, but it's still too nice to not post.

You can bet good money the Criterion cover won't come anywhere near the beauty of that, though

Yeah, but maybe they'll find a really nice still and throw some helvetica on it. I kid, I kid.

I swear sometimes I fear that Criterion actually hired some of those people who used to post their fakes on the old Dot Com Forum

Is there a list of silent film available and forthcoming on blu anywhere? Between Coeur Fidele and People on Sunday, I feel like we're finally getting titles outside of the absolute top tier of name recognition lately...

Silent Movies on DVD, I don't think it has forthcoming releases though.

Blu-ray discs listed by decade
Edit: I see this doesn't include releases from outside North America -- a shame.

We know what #20 will be, but we don't want to announce it until we're a little more confident about when the release date may be. As soon as we can schedule it (probably for September) we'll announce it (probably end of May).

Fingers crossed that it's finally Lang's Nibelungen (although I'm guessing that would be two spine numbers)

Nick, there are several new and upcoming Blu releases around the world that seem like they'd be a perfect fit for MoC. I would, of course, rather be giving my money to you. Any chance of any of these happening?

Dreyer's Glomdalsbruden and Die Gezeichneten

Several Taiwanese films including Yang's Terrorizers and Tsai's Vive l'amour

Kino's Buster Keaton shorts collection

swo17, I second that! Also wouldn't HHH's Millenium Mambo look great on blu-ray...!

As long as we're asking, any chance of Valkoinen Peura/White Reindeer? Were-reindeer films are woefully under-represented on the MOC roster to date. There's a fairly recent Finnish R2 DVD but I'd rather buy local if I can.

Has this been announced anywhere? There's a cover up in the 108 spot on the MoC catalog page- Schloss Vogelod.

I hope it significantly betters the Kino, which I already have- it would be nice to have all of my Murnau from MoC.

Great! You guys have kept releasing and announcing stuff in the last six months that are bang on in my interest areas. Another release I'll pick up when I return to England later in the year. Dream extras would be a Kalat comm and any of the other Muranu stuff that is still hanging around and won't ever probably see an individual DVD release.

And spine #111 is Colossal Youth!

P.S. I wonder what that pink sticker on Pigs and Battleships' cover says...
