I recently met an attractive Armenian girl and was going to give her a copy of Lighthouse (Mayak) just released by 2nd Run.
Was wondering if there were any other Armenian language films available on Dvd?
Or any films situated in Armenia (or dealing with Armenians), even if Russian is the spoken language?
I know that Parajanov was Armenian, but I'm not sure if any of his films were set there.
Any help/recs would be appreciated.

Parajanov's The Color of Pomegranates is indeed set (mostly) in Armenia. You might also look at Vodka Lemon (2003). Another film of interest is Don Askarian's Avetik. RUSCICO has some box sets of unsubtitled Armenian films with Armenian/Russian soundtracks.
