I don't get the Cage appreciation. Possibly because an ex of mine was just a little too in love with him and I had to watch way too many of the guy's movies. Raising Arizona aside (and a lot of Adaptation, though it's been a while since I watched it) are all I can stand.

The Rock, to me, is still way too "two guys who are going to be forced to get along against their will" for me. I actually think sending drillers to an asteroid is a pretty neat concept.

Again, Armageddon is terrible, but I'd still rather watch it than The Rock.

Cage is amazing in how over the top he'll go, how corny he's willing to be, how ugly, how uncool. All qualities utterly absent in 99% of all other action stars.

I sold my DVD of it years ago, but the thing that stuck out even more than his performance in the film, was the little bit during the outtakes of Ed Harris fucking up and projecting his anger.
