That's better than yes (but just you wait and it turns into overexposure).

More questions should start out with "Last question, from Sizzlemuffin:"

I guess he wasn't kidding around.

I only just realized that the Jim Rash who co-wrote Alexander Payne's upcoming the Descendants is the same Jim Rash as the Dean. So now this cast is going to have an Oscar nominee in play!

I was going to say what about John Goodman but apparently the closest he's come is winning a worthless Emmy.

Him not getting nominated for Barton Fink is just criminal.

I just started my first commentary from the season two set and Donald Glover and Gillian Jacobs have already inserted the word "cunt" into their names and went off on a tangent about blowjobs-- all within the first minute. Impressive!

Shocked to hear you say that. The dean stuff alone was hilarious!

The Dean was easily the best thing here

Agree to disagree. As comedy season premieres go, this was about as solid as it gets. Most shows sadly need to sacrifice jokes for plot updates, etc etc. This is just pure wacky amazing

This has been my biggest fear since being introduced to the series. I approach the premiere with caution.

Disclaimer: I like Scrubs a lot in a comfort-food-y way. Sort of like I like Kraft macaroni and cheese.

8 Eastern, so whatever that is for you guys. Stick around for Parks, too, because it was hilarious. Even the Office had a killer cold open featuring my favorite sport

Hate to agree with Dom, but Doctor Who aside only the Dean stuff cracked a smile.

Apparently the ratings sucked last night, with only about 4 million viewers (down 23% from last season's premiere). Parks and Recreation had about as many viewers. Almost 70% more people watched Whitney. ](*,)

The premiere felt a little off to me but I thought it still had a number of belly laughs. The P&R premiere went down nice and smooth though.

Did anyone else sense that John Goodman was channeling Rip Torn?

Whitney will fall hard. The pilot was awful and series premieres always get high numbers.

I believe he was suppose to be channeling Ned Beatty.
