...as mentioned by name in my post. Granted, I mentioned other films, but the Edinburgh reference would have helped you put two and two together since Nabob of Nowhere also brought it up.

This year we've put up pictures of Kubrick and allsorts of other things as our Twitter background. It doesn't mean that we're definitely releasing these things! --

YAY! MoC releases the complete Kubrick anthology!

I hope they include the 35mm prints of the films this time!

35mm? Nothing less than 70mm for Spartacus and 2001!

WELL, actually its not everybody who has a 70mm player at home! Unless they are released in dual format with the 35mm, I wouldn't get them...

We'll accept an actual release of Cockfighter as apology, of course.

Russ Meyer hasn't had a decent dual-format release yet, and you can't say he isn't a master of cinema. William Goldman called him the one true American auteur, and John Waters cites Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! as "beyond doubt the best film ever made, and probably better than any film that will be made in the future".

Mind you, I think Arrow still have the UK rights.

Hitchcock= "Heavyweight" + "Giddy" = Vertigo + Universal deal. Years of cryptic crossword abuse or am I right here?

Given that the Pasolini MoC releases out next year had been previously released on the now defunct Tartan label, I'm thinking possibly more titles that had been previously owned by them?

Bergman on blu? Jodorowsky?

Some further details: 24 is not counting any dual format releases of the early Blu-ray titles. Probably three of them will be silents, and one of these German (Die Nibelungen?). Probably four of the 24 will be upgrades (presumably the two already announced plus Tabu and Muriel).

I'd love a Rocco Blu if we're talking strictly upgrades here. That's coming out in France so there will be the 1080p transfer available.
