Isn't that Ruggles of Red Gap? That's certainly Maude Eburne on the left. We know that's coming.

That is Ruggles of Red Gap. It's the dinner scene from the last act of the film.

"Repulsion" is already out in the UK, so almost certainly you won't get that.

Yes, Odeon have it, and their version only came out in 2010, so I'm guessing they have the rights for a good few years yet.tojoed wrote:"Repulsion" is already out in the UK, so almost certainly you won't get that.

Re: MoC Facebook & Twitter
Of course it could be a limited blu only release? Doubt it though.
Personally, I'd be happy with any pre-1980's Polanski on blu.

As far as I'm aware, Paramount owns it worldwide, so it would depend on whether they'd struck a deal.Drucker wrote:Could Chinatown in the UK be coming out via MoC?

Just tweeted:
In addition to our Apr/May/Jun announcements later today (3pm UK), we'll be announcing a new acquisition that we've been after for 8 years. (but which won't be out until 2013, unfortunately)

Steve_Hills: Talking of OSCAR nominations, there may be a few films in our announcement that were OSCAR nominated? Could even be a film that won some?

Re: MoC Facebook & Twitter
Good set of announcements, especially the Wilders and Dreyer. Smart to go for a Fox Hitchcock instead of a Universal too. Always enjoyed LIFEBOAT, and I doubt Fox would have gotten to it for a while. Shame we didn't get cover art with the announcements this time, though.
