Just e-mail them and tell them not to take a profit on their hard work, you'd be surprised what can happen!

Two Pasolinis, Paranoiac on blu, and DVDs of Alone Across the Pacific, Devil and Daniel Webster and Le Grand jeu. I love these sales.

Don't get me wrong, I would pay for their blus even if they were priced at £18, my only qualm is they state they try to price match Amazon, but that does not always happen.
They have the best customer service in the world, the only problem is they are a bit slow in responding to e-mails, but that's understandable since Kevin gets to handle all the traffic by himself!

They happen to be a little more expensive than amazon at some point but MOC dvds at 5 to 7.50 GBP and Duals at 10.99 you don't see that quite often elsewhere... Nobody is forcing anyone to stick to the same online store... We're not in 1950 when you had to spend a day and 50 bucks of gas to check the prices in every store to make the better choice...

I don't see why people find a way to complain when something is cheaper elsewhere! Just get it there and give us a break!

I am complaining because they are missing sales, surely they would still make more selling the items directly a bit cheaper than Amazon, than having to pay Amazon commission for every item it sells.
This is not about selfishness, GET OVER IT!

Was the Franju one of the ones mentioned as getting an upgrade?

Got Narayama and Coeur fidèle.

Will buy the Lubitsch set if it's still available in a week.

Being at university without a Blu-ray player gives me a pretty good reason to catch up on some of the MoC DVDs I never got. Just ordered THERE'S ALWAYS TOMORROW, A TIME TO LOVE AND A TIME TO DIE, LE GRAND JEU, and DIARY OF A LOST GIRL. Very excited.

Save Up to 70% off Masters Of Cinema at Zavvi sounds better than it is. Prices are pretty average, but some older DVD selections are £7.95 or so.

I know this isn't the thread for this--but the worst customer service issues I've ever had were with Zavvi. They're the first e-tailer that I specifically put on my 'won't do business with these shits ever again no matter the bargain'. Shame, as they do have great prices and are very good about shipping fast. That being said, I don't plan on purchasing from deepdiscountdvd, but that's merely because they are ridiculously slow to ship.

A bit slow, but I've never had problems. I've used them a few times when it was cheaper than Amazon UK, most recently for Alonso's Liverpool.

Thanks. Sorta interested in the two MoC Antonionis as they're only 9.95

I can't get an order through. First the site said my credit card couldn't be processed, and trying to pay with PayPal for over an hour I get error messages: the site is too busy, an error occurred, etc. Anyone else experienced this?

Send It have some good prices on MoC Blus and DVDs, but they charge £1.99 P&P. Still, even with that, the prices are as good as Zavvi.

It's worse for overseas orders at SendIt. Almost £5 per item for shipping, compared to £.99 per order on the sister site.

So, that means Sendit is £2 more expensive than Zavvi on international orders. :-k

I recently tried Zavvi for the first time (they only started shipping to Japan recently) and it took about a week, about the same as Amazon UK. As for DeepDiscount, they have improved greatly since last year. Orders have come extremely quick (US to Japan, 1 week), and sometimes they ship out titles earlier. (Received "The Killing", "Incendies", "Destroy All Monsters" etc before the US street date)
