It's not Thief is it? Probably been 10-12 years since I've seen it, but looking at the trailer it looks like Caan wears a darker coat like that in several scenes.

Is it something random from one of the Qatsi films?

I'm pretty sure it's not The China Syndrome. I know those sets pretty well. The power plant control room doesn't have that type of computer, and the news room is more TV monitors, typewriters, and rotary-dial phones.

So nevermind, I don't think it's Thief. The whole movie is up on YouTube and while I only skimmed through it, I don't see anything that matches that shot.

I think it might be the newspaper office where Ewan McGregor works in Shallow Grave. Anybody have a copy to confirm?

Wasn't this hinted at recently? You might be right...

Think that is it. Haven't finished scanning it on YouTube to find the exact shot, but there is a big yellow something on one of the keyboards and the chairs are similar..

It's called zooming and cropping.

Why should it be 2.35:1?

Why not? It seems to be throwing people off. And while I haven't seen the film in a while it looks like the frame would be a close-up so aspect ratio means nothing.

This discovery wasn't as impressive as it was hinted at on the New Years and the B&W still comes straight off the IMDb page... Didn't these used to be harder, like the umbrella that no one seemed to guess?

They do lots of clues that are guessed within seconds. This one took over an hour for someone to figure out.

It does NOT perfectly match the peaks on the cover of Night Train to Munich...so Gold Rush?

No one has commented on how much they already hate the cover. You guys are getting soft...

Either Gold Rush or Nanook, which they've been hinting at for some time.

I thought the supposed Nanook clue turned out to be Letter Never Sent?
