Release dates

The above mentions that they're releasing STARCRASH on Aug. 10. That'll be the release of the year for me.

Corman was also involved in a number of war movies including Saigon Commandos. I hope the studios releases it.

Not exactly Buena Vista release, but Corman's World will be released on Blu-ray by Anchor Bay on March 27th.

I won't be happy until A Bucket Of Blood comes out on blu-ray (in a decent edition).

What is the correct aspect ratio of Machine-Gun Kelly (1958)? Is it 1.37:1 or 2.35:1?

I suspect neither—Machine Gun Kelly used a format that AIP called "Superama," which appears to have been a Superscope-like process where a nonanamorphic image was matted down to 2:1 and then optically squeezed to create anamorphic prints. There's a 1.33:1 transfer on Youtube and just from spot-checking a few random places it looks okay cropped to 2:1, but going all the way to 2.35:1 doesn't look so hot.
