They're showing this at Anthology Film Archives tomorrow night (August 16) at 6:30 and 9:15 p.m., and Chantal Akerman will be there in person.

Caught the later show and thus missed Akerman, altho she did stick around to give a rather humorous introduction. Enjoyed the film, not familiar with the Conrad story so I can't tell you how loyal the film was but, there were fantastic performances and altho I would have liked a bit more from the middle of the film the opening sequence and the ending were fantastic. Anybody else seen this?
