Eureka Newsletter wrote:On a different note, the debut novel by Eureka Entertament MD Ron Benson, iPLOT – ‘An Apple a day will not keep conspiracy at bay’ has been released in eBook on Amazon and iTunes, for just over a fortnight now. The physical book is not yet released but we have the paperbooks in stock now, all signed by the author.

"Set in London and Australia, iPlot is a mystery thriller in the style of Lee Childs. It is an electrifying depiction of two average people thrown headlong into a murder plot exacted on Australia’s first female leader.”

Interesting offer on the lastest newsletter: buy any two items from them and get a free copy of the Moroder Metropolis Steelbook release.

Do you need to do something special for this, or just order 2 items from the website?

The newsletter is here. It implies you just have to order two things and they'll send a 'Metropolis' DVD to you as well, although if your Paypal payment allows you to add a comment, it can't hurt to mention it in there.

The newletter also states that the offer will end in six and a half hours time... although I'm sure what they mean be "midnight on Friday 23rd" is that the offer ends just after Friday night, which is midnight on Saturday 24th. Not much of a Black Friday sale otherwise!

It's a pretty good deal, considering. I took advantage of it to get Passion and Nibelungen. Regarding the SteelBooks, I started ordering those from Amazon because it ships them in extra protective packaging that MoC doesn't use.

Unfortunately not any more. I did the same thing, but the last 3 steelbooks all arrived in the thinnest of cardboard envelopes from Amazon. Somebody needs to tell anyone shipping out boxsets, steelbooks or digipacks that bubble wrap or specially designed cardboard cases within the outer corrugated boxes is the only guarantee to have them arrive without dents and nicks. I'm tired of holding my breath each time I open a package only to find them significantly dented in at least 8 out of 10 cases.

Is the free Scandal offer including or excluding Friday 21st?

In one place they say "before the 21st," which I suppose literally means not including the 21st. However, elsewhere they say "between now and the 21st." Um, if you want to be safe, order today?

Eureka's New Year's Sale page here. I must confess, I'm having a hard time finding the discounts.

There's a few on the Blu-Ray page (the early Antonioni's, Coeur Fidele, Mad Detective, etc.) for 9.99.

Make Way For Tomorrow and Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? on Blu-Ray for 10 pounds (with free worldwide shipping) is a steal. The former seems to have all of Criterion's extras, so if you can play Region B BD's, it's a definite buy.
