Sorry for the mistake. I always think that Lloyd, Keaton, etc. directed their all of their own movies even though I know better.

On topic, I think this months covers are all pretty good.

While Lloyd did not direct Safety Last!, I think it is generally agreed that he is the true auteur behind it, so it's appropriate that his name appear upfront. Criterion did the same thing with their release of The Bank Dick, listing W.C. Fields's name over director Edward Cline's.

All 5 of these covers are amongst the best in the collection. Shoah may be the best ever.

I have not been impressed with a lot of the covers this year but all of the new ones this month are fantastic

Part of me wishes they would have tried a new cover for Wild Strawberries, though I'm at a loss for ideas as to what image they could've used from the film in place of the original.

Otherwise, I love all the new covers! Best month in... months.

The interior artwork is too busy to work as a front cover. And the front works great.

I try to post 3D images of the cover art as soon as I get them. I posted the 3D shot of Repo Man a couple of months ago here.

I agree 100%! I am so tempted to sell my MoC copy and get the Criterion just for the packaging.
