"The Insider" reviews are coming in, and it supposedly looks great and sounds great, the extras are lacking.
One featurette that was on the DVD is gone, and the supposedly new audio commentary listed on the rear is not on the disc.

It is fucking ridiculous the treatment that has been given to this incredible film. I don't understand why this films hasn't been licensed to Criterion or a Boutique company.

The delayed Atlantis release is now showing up on amazon.com with a 6/11/13 date.

Also showing up on amazon.com for the same release date?

Lilo & Stitch / Lilo & Stitch: Stitch Has A Glitch Two-Movie Collection has been listed on Amazon, so I imagine it's going to get a release date soon. I still don't understand why Disney didn't released this on BD when they re-released the film on DVD several years ago.

Apparently they've intimated that The Jungle Book is going to be the Diamond title for 2014, so what does that leave? The package features, Tarzan and 101 Dalmatians (both of which are out in the UK, I think), and The Black Cauldron?

The Three Caballeros, Make Mine Music, etc. The run of movies that comprise a series of shorts rather than a single feature that ran up to Cinderella.

I'd seriously love to have Three Caballeros / Saludos Amigos in HD, especially if they include the laserdisc supplements, and if they are really nice, include "Walt And El Grupo" as one supreme packaged "package feature" set.

Don't forget Hercules!

All that remain are the 6 package films, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, The Jungle Book, The Black Cauldron, Aladdin, Hercules and Tarzan.

Dalmations and Aladdin will likely appear in better editions in the U.S. than they currently have in the U.K., as they will be included in the Diamond Edition range. Tarzan has lossy audio in the U.K.

Wikipedia goes into some detail about how Black Cauldron was cut down for some of it's more adult content before release. This apparently happened after the original version was complete, so perhaps all the deleted stuff survives. Would really like to see a new uncut version.

Wikipedia also has details on how Make Mine Music was heavily cut for it's last iteration on home video. Hopefully this will corrected be if it ever gets a Blu-ray release.

Well, Make Mine Music is finally being released in the UK July 15th 2013, although on DVD only. Most likely uncut.

Looks like The Muppet Movie is finally getting an upgrade in August. I wonder if they'll finally get around to releasing season 4 of the Muppet Show, too.

It would also be nice if the Disney Movie Club were letting me pre-order any of these new announcements- to judge from them, the only thing happening in the next few months is the Little Mermaid release.

If it's anything like the Canadian version of the club, you'll get a chance to do that closer to release date. I think there's two or three release on the same day in August, and those will probably be a combo offer.

Lilo & Stitch / Lilo & Stitch 2 Blu-ray set has none of the DVD extras

Part 2 didn't have much significant extras previously, but the original had on DVD a 2 hour plus making of documentary with 100 minutes of extra "footnotes" for the documentary, plus the usual slew of commentary, deleted scenes, featurettes, and horrendous music videos.

Very glad I kept the old 2-disc DVD edition.

The Jungle Book on February 11, 2014 and Sleeping Beauty (again!) in October, 2014. I suspect the latter is just a tie-in to the live-action Maleficent movie. I can't imagine how they could substantially improve the previous edition.

A used copy of Sleeping Beauty has been going for north of fifty bucks for a while though, so it's welcome news
