I'd forgotten about Henry V! The ITV BD has been out for a while but hopefully Criterion are getting round to it sooner than later.

I'm going to guess no eclipse this month on the theory the AK100 esque December Zatoichi project has been absorbing most of the eclipse personnel for the entire year.

Hidden Fortress do over
Le Samourai upgrade
Tokyo Story upgrade
Mulhulland Dr
Eraserhead
It's a Madx4 World
The Freshman
The Kid

edit just saw the WCF news so how about instead:
Tokyo Story upgrade
It's a Madder World
Martin Scorsese Presents Masterpieces of World Cinema boxset (8 film set, $124.95)

I think we get the Apu Trilogy or a Rivette in November or December, the ace left up the schedule's sleeve..

And we're due for a Truffaut blugrade at some point- most of the double cases (keepcases? I'm thinking of 'Ikiru'-type packaging) have been upgraded, with only a handful left- including Shoot the Piano Player and Jules & Jim.

One or both the Lynch films predicted so far, and maybe Life Aquatic.

That's actually not true: most of the old double-Amaray releases have still not been upgraded to Blu, even just considering the currently in-print titles. Not even close. At one time I thought it'd be a real priority to get those upgrades out of the way to transition away from those cases as the earlier printings ran out, but apparently not!

Sadly, I think we're more likely to get La Cage aux Folles 1-3 in a box.

Well, if anything's less funny than It's a Mad... World, it's a Seth Rogen movie

One possibility that hasn't been mentioned yet: Moonrise Kingdom.

Focus will have had a one-year exclusivity window with their Blu-ray as of October 16. They gave Fox a 2.5 year window on The Darjeeling Limited, but it doesn't seem outside the realm of possibility.

Frustrated by Arsenal's inactivity in the transfer market:

Eclipse: Czech (and Slovak!) New Wave 2
Wim Wenders Road Trilogy
David Lynch Eraserhead
Blue ray upgrade of Le Samourai
Stanley Kramer's It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, World

They've been releasing titles licensed from Focus Features at a pretty steady clip. We've had a few months of solicitations without any Focus licensed product; so I expect that one of the big November titles will be a Focus title. Moonrise Kingdom is a decent guess but Mulholland Drive paired with Eraserhead certainly would be the odds on choice.

I feel like Moonrise Kingdom has to be a 2014 release at the absolute earliest, if Criterion even picks it up at all. The barebones BD hasn't even been out a year.

Good guess, but I would rather have The Pianist or The Motorcycle Diaries (both are Focus titles) before I see a CC edition of Moonrise Kingdom. Come one, at least give me some time to sell my Focus BD of Moonrise Kingdom first!!! Mulholland Drive will definitely be great too.

Well if we're talking Focus releases, what's the over-under on Brick?

Isn't Far from Heaven the most likely Focus title that we'll be seeing next?

1. Todd Haynes phantom page
2. Brilliant pairing with All That Heaven Allows BLU upgrade which is imminent.

I do hope so!

I'd be much happier if they'd gotten the out of print Safe from Sony for Blu.
