I'm disappointed they didn't keep the reversible covers for this set. I guess I'll be keeping the DVDs after all.

My amazon shipment arrived in Wyoming. The box was mangled but only minor scuffs to an upper corner. #614. Can't wait to watch these. Ugetsu is the only Mizoguchi movie I've ever seen.

Arrived from Eureka with one rather blonde and long pubic hair. The box set is great and the hair is long, so I don't think of the number at all.

My box arrived in Pittsburgh via amazon, intact. It feels like I could have almost missed it. Got #1756. Received a second package from amazon containing Arrow's The Fury, which got brutally damaged. Now, where can I get a replacement case for that?

The easiest would be probably from Amazon themselves. You email them about the problem (see the page "Help" at the bottom of the main page, then the yellow button "Contact us" on the right), explain it's badly damaged, and ask for a replacement. Depending where you're located, they might ask you to send back the damaged copy.

Still no luck with my Eureka order. There's always tomorrow...

I contacted them last night and they placed a replacement order for me.

Happy ending: received #11/2000 today :D

Pristine condition as well, packed in a box within a box.

11, 13, and 14 all went to boardmembers-- I hope someone owns up to 12 before the collectionistas have a conniption fit!

Box was pretty much smashed when I got it but other than a slight dent in the corner the actual set is fine. Impressive looking set. Heavy, too.

559 btw.

Why has no one created a master list of who got which numbers? And then there should be a vote for who has the best number. And then we should all start writing posts exclusively using our number key pads. Example:

Finally swo is given the opportunity to unleash his numerical-based writing system upon the world! Don't try to pretend you haven't been secretly working on that for years.

Mine just showed up in a flimsy DHL Global Mail cardboard envelope (ordered from Amazon) torn completely open so that the set could fall right out, but thankfully it was still inside.
I got one of the worst numbers of anyone so far: 576—not especially high or low, not prime, not associated with pot culture.

I like it because it's almost 976. And it's divisible by nine. So cheer up!

We actually seem to have the same number, then. I've got a 420 I received from Eureka. Is that a printing duplication?

Can we discuss this in the "Where's my MoC?" -thread, please?

Thank you and good night.

No, this thread is already nothing but anticipation and idle chatter. If you want to discuss the movies themselves, there are other threads for them in this same section.

It's the vertical resolution of PAL/European SD video, if that's any help? No? Oh well.

I have 237 and yes it was delivered by 8 year old girl twins in party frocks. Will we have the same numeric excitement for the Boro box (for which I just did the 60 nicker pledge thing)?

#0126/2000 here, slight dent in one corner. Otherwise A OK. My Arrow Limited Collector's edition of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 is #09977/10000. I wonder who got the first 9976.

Oh boy! I got 1881, the year Chester A Arthur became president!

Kind of surprised it arrived so quickly, since I bought it a few days after release.
