That's the font Sorrentino used in the film. And I quite like the poster for the film and am glad they used it for the cover. As much as the film is fun and energetic it also has the underscoring theme of the reconciling with history, which I always thought the poster, and the trailer for that matter, captured quite well.

Well, no one's commented on it, so I'll say that the BHoT cover is great. Much better than the film itself!

Persona is also really well done. They could have gone with any one of the more famous images from the film, but I'm glad they didn't since they've become so widely parodied. This image is just as striking and as characteristic of the film while feeling very fresh.

It's great to see another month of excellent cover art - especially the Kurosawa, Bergman, and Morris.

Have they come up yet with a 3-discs plastic case? CriterionCast usually posts 3-D pics for the external packaging of the releases in a few days from the announcement. They still haven't done that for Feb titles. There are two 3-discs releases in March too. I wonder what's cooking. I just can't visualize so many digipaks happening in 3 months.

It'll probably be digis for the foreseeable future.

The lack of 3-D art is likely due to the distribution changeover.

Scanavo has some that exist, and it does seem a little weird that Criterion hasn't moved to adopt them, but perhaps is just a matter of time.

I imagine they could do a three disc if they put a hub on the inner left side of the plastic case, but that would only be feasible with very thin booklets. Digis with any larger booklets, I presume.

Of the Feb and March new releases, looks like only Brief History of Time and Blue is the Warmest Color are keepcases.

They have used them (Science is Fiction) but as Movielocke said, they don't allow for anything but a smaller booklet.
