I'm assuming that translates to "Isn't Greenberg a great guy?"

"Whimsical" might be pushing the translation slightly, but yeah it does seem to be communicating an idea far from the movie.

Sounds like they're trying to do Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain with this film!

What does that make Rhys Ifans? The coffee cup or the telephone?

I didn't know Aaron Eckhart could channel Sylvester Stallone in that poster.

I'm so disappointed that that's not the English title.
"Yo, Frankenstein. You are looking good, bro. Oh, sorry, you're 'Adam.' Frankenstein was the scientist who created you. Why is this movie called Yo, Frankenstein again?"

Where to even begin? For starters, even in this thread not many covers manage to get the title wrong.

What a sin against a perfect theatrical poster.

Not only does it look horribly rendered but it's a poor representation of the actual film as it's not that bad of an animated film but the cover gives off bad vibes.

Since it's a holiday weekend, I decided to venture over to Deep Discount in the hopes of finding a few titles on my wish list at a really good price. Now that I've cancelled my Amazon Prime, I'm venturing out more to other retailers. However, it's also noticeable how much Amazon steers you away from garbage. I couldn't help but notice how many awful titles have made it to blu-ray. How can someone have the wherewithall to get funding for a film, only to title it something like:

From Prada To Nada
Woman Thou Art Loosed: On the 7th Day
Bikini Girls On Ice
Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day
Kung Fu Dunk
Bloodrayne: The Third Reich
and this one:

(The cover is actually far from the worst I've seen, but it was an excuse to post here since I couldn't find a thread on bad titles anywhere).

I'm really curious what the target demographic is there... Toddlers with an affinity for the 70s?

I watched a clip of the film in its original Danish on YouTube. It doesn't seem worse than most other animation out there, but I'll take "Funky Worm" by the Ohio Players instead any day.

My guess is that the 70s disco soundtrack is to attract the parents (to buy it as babysitting material while they do chores in another room), but I can't imagine them being attracted to that cover, let alone shelling out $20 for the blu ray.

20 dollars, for what simply looks like a disposable animated film?

Well it was originally a Danish film, so it could be considered a Foreign Film too, and foreign films automatically get a price boost (in the US).
