Thank you swo. Thought mine to be uncorrected. That was perfect. This confirms it.

Time to contact BFI for replacement disc. I wonder how many of the uncorrected discs are out there still. This one was through SpeedyHen in the UK (shipping from a US warehouse -- very fast!)

"V2" - on Blu-ray replacement disc (thanks to BFI and Mr. Stoddart of course!)

Mine was bought thru Amazon.co.uk.

Excellent. Very clear. I had contacted BFI's customer service email on Sunday about replacement and so far no word back. Should I be dealing with Mr Stoddard directly? An email address would be greatly appreciated.

As posted earlier in the thread: [email protected]

Mr. Stoddart is probably the most helpful customer service rep I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

The BFI informs me that the latest run of Battleship Potemkin BDs unfortunately used the older on-body artwork - so while they unquestionably do contain the corrected version in terms of actual disc content, they don't include the "v2" at the end of the curving copyright notice.

However, it's still possible to tell which version you have: if the hard-to-read number around the centre is A0102076790, it was pressed from the new master. Whereas the old master will have this number: A0102036985. And, speaking from experience, it's also pretty clear by eye if you have the correct version, as you won't spot any jaggies when playing it back.

Thanks so much for posting this Michael. By coincidence I am on holiday in London and ordered this while I was here. Arrived today and as it turns out, it is indeed part of the new press run. Glad to know it is not faulty!
