So has anyone received their order yet who a) is in the United States and b) ordered directly from Arrow, but not through the Kickstarter? I ordered a copy on April 22, but haven't heard a word from Arrow since. The order shows up as "part shipped" on their site, which would be slightly reassuring if not for the fact that that just seems to be the status for any order with multiple shipments and has nothing to do with completion (another order placed a few months later is still marked as "part shipped" despite being complete, since it was split into two packages).

They shipped them on the 10th, I imagine they'll arrive sometime this week.

I ordered direct but I am in Australia. Ignore the website order status, mine has remained unchanged since February. I emailed Arrow and was informed my order shipped on Wednesday last with a signed for delivery. Whether it is priority postage or just registered Royal mail is unknown to me. Anyone else know?

Fun to hear you're in Austria. That's where all this stuff is manufactured :) (well, the BDs anyway).

Searching for more info on this set led me to these forums. I am thoroughly kicking myself for missing on the kickstarter and pre-orders. I only got wind of it when I found a press release announcement by ArrowFilms on this set, but by then, it had all but sold out.

I know individual releases are available, but I am a sucker for 'sets', especially since this one comes with a dedicated book.

Well, one auction on eBay just finished at £320 odd. Is this not a clear sign that there is demand for a reprint, albeit a similarly small run? It's a shame to limit all the effort put into the book to a small print run.

The BDs have now come full circle, as 20 minutes after I made my posting the postman delivered 0052.

Many thanks to all involved for such a great release!

Are other US based Kickstarters waiting for box set rewards? These sets are delivered via USPS and require signature (in USA)?

I hope mine was one of the last out the door.

Making my way through the set chronologically and I've completed all of the shorts. Favourites are Renaissance which, to me, was strangely reminiscent in atmosphere to BBC's 70's kids programme Bagpuss. Angel's Games which I've heard or read may or may not be influenced by the Holocaust? A possible train ride to Auschwitz on the opening credit sequence?? Joachim's Dictionary is just flat out bonkers and Scherzo Infernal which is good ole' scabrous fun.

Less favoured was Gavotte, but it's interesting viewing in that, while Borowczyk's animations being an influence on Gilliam are well documented, I wonder if this short using dwarves in a slapstick situation bore heavily in the mind of Gilliam during the gestation of Time Bandits?

My set is currently in NJ. Yes, I can track it. Arrow sent me a tracking number in response to my email. Now, I just have to wait and wonder whether the set is gonna fly to Pittsburgh or gonna drive! :-k

They attempted to deliver my set yesterday, but apparently someone needs to sign for it? I'm going to try to email Royal Mail to tell them just to leave it, but this is proving challenging.

My kickstarter box (#574!) arrived in pristine condition but sadly none of the individual keep case booklets were included. I've mailed Arrow now so hopefully they will help me out. I feel the set is incomplete without them...

The booklets are not included with the box set cases. They are only for the individual releases. All of the content in them can be found in the big book.

Ah ! Many thanks Eddie. I thought the booklets had different content to that of the big book ?

Nope, the big book contains everything and the booklets contain sections from the big book (but not everything).

Not actually true, but the original material in the booklets is pretty negligible - I rewrote parts of Boro's Dictionary to create separate pieces on A Private Collection and Venus on the Half-Shell, and each booklet gets a standard Arrow Academy round-up of short excerpts from contemporary reviews, which felt a bit unwieldy in the context of the big book. Plus Blanche gets the original Latin text of the opening song, something added at literally the last minute when I realised that the page count wasn't a multiple of four and only had enough stills to fill three.

Just received mine here in the States and it is both the biggest and loveliest box set I've seen in forever. I'm very excited to dive in and discover these films!

#185 arrived here in Australia just now. For those interested it took exactly 1 week or 5 business days to get here.
