Yes, but even at twice the price, I'd prefer to purchase the Polish Blu-ray (which has English subs).

well I've got Polish B-R and I've got SR's reissue on DVD and as far as I remember (I can not compare it now, my dvd box is not with me) there's just a slight improvement on the Polish disc (+no bonuses as far as I'm concerned). Definitely not night and day difference as it was in case of "The Saragossa Manuscript" and "The Hourglass Sanatorium" Blu Rays - those reissues literally blew me away and trounced old US(?) dvds in terms of picture quality.
